Avery Sunshine

Avery Sunshine, a singer-composer well-known for his distinctive mix of soul gospel jazz R&B and R&B. Avery Sunshine has performed on Broadway as well as at various festivals across Europe, as well as performing at Democratic National Convention. Sunshine is Denise White. Even though she lives in Atlanta currently, she is from Chester Pennsylvania. In Chester Pennsylvania she first began her journey as a musician by playing and singing at the local church. Following her graduation from Spellman College, Atlanta she started her journey in music on Atlanta's R&B music scene. Sunshine was brought to the attention of America during the four performances per day at the 2008 Democratic National Convention. Sunshine followed up with being asked to sing in the presence of President Barack Obama at his inauguration.
