Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy (born on 17 October 1992) is an Indian actress. She appears primarily on screen in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam movies. She was awarded the National Film Award for Best Actress for portraying the role of actress Savitri on the Telugu film Mahanati (2018). Her other awards comprise three SIIMA Awards, a Filmfare Award South as well as three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy Kumar's parents are film producer G. Suresh Kumar & actor Menaka G. Suresh. Her professional career started in the early 2000s, as a young actor. Her return to the film industry after completing her studies in fashion. Her first leading performance in the 2013 Malayalam film Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). In 2015, Keerthy accepted her first projects outside of Malayalam and was signed to participate in a variety of Tamil film projects simultaneously. It it was A. L. Vijay together with Vikram and Vikram, who premiered Idhu Enna Maayam in 2015. It didn't go much, but it did get released. The actress had to pull out of a variety of projects she was already making in 2015 like Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye and Deekay's Kavalai Vedam to make room for more ambitious projects. She consequently worked on two films in collaboration with Sivakarthikeyan within a short time, Rajini Murugan and Remo, while also playing the leading character in Prabhu Solomon's Thodari, alongside Dhanush.Her Telugu debut was planned to release in Ainaa Ishtam Nuvvu. The film was pushed back since 2015 and reports suggest it will be released after September 2020, under the name Janakitho Nenu. Subsequently, the debut was the 2016 film Nenu Sailaja featuring actress Ram Pothineni. Keerthy was first seen in Bairavaa opposite Vijay director Bharathan.
